For the fifth consecutive day, authorities and volunteers continue the search and rescue operations for 75-year-old Mr. José Antonio Saavedra González, who suffers from Alzheimer's and was reported missing since last Monday after leaving his residence.
This Saturday's operations are concentrated in the Carlos Santana district, in the province of Veraguas, where a team of 15 people has been deployed, including units from Sinaproc, Firefighters, National Police, Red Cross, and the missing man's family.
The authorities are calling on the public to provide any information that could contribute to his location.
Teams and technological tools have been used to locate him. The group has searched through wooded areas, riverbanks, and other nearby points, but so far, his whereabouts have not been found.
