In Dolega, Panama, a man died after choking on a piece of meat at a dance hall. According to the Dolega Prosecutor's Office, the incident occurred outside the kitchen of the venue. The man was at the event when he went to the kitchen to purchase meat products. After consuming them, he choked and collapsed at the scene. Witnesses stated there was no one present who knew how to administer first aid. Paramedics from the Dolega Fire Department arrived and confirmed the man had no vital signs. Officials from the Prosecutor's Office, the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, and the Directorate of Judicial Investigation conducted an on-site inspection, collected evidence, and removed the body.
