A 73-year-old man died on the night of January 9 while performing livestock work in the Jazmín sector, in the corregimiento of Bocas del Monte, in San Lorenzo, Chiriquí. Authorities reported that the victim was identified as Saúl Pimentel Pineda. According to his family's account, Pimentel was engaged in livestock activities when he suddenly lost his balance and fell to the ground, showing no vital signs. Previously, the elderly man had suffered several strokes. After the report was made, authorities arrived at the scene to recover the body. The results of the autopsy are awaited to determine the cause of death.
