An unexpected visitor has disrupted the visit to some beaches where bathers are taking advantage of the carnival holidays to enjoy the sea. This Tuesday, it was at Boquilla beach, where lifeguards from Sinaproc not only raised the red flag but also took the opportunity to give people advice on what to do if they encounter these snakes. On Sunday, the presence of the snake was found at El Uverito beach in Los Santos, where a yellow flag was placed, requesting caution to people in the area. A similar situation occurred on Monday at La Ensenada beach in San Carlos, where lifeguards, upon seeing the snake, proceeded to evacuate the site. 'We recommend bathers and visitors not to handle it and maintain a prudent distance,' is the first advice that Sinaproc agents give to bathers. For now, Sinaproc reports no person affected by the bite of this reptile. This animal does not attack humans unless it feels threatened, trapped, or annoyed. It is the sea snake, which has caused the National Civil Protection System -Sinaproc- to prevent people from entering the saltwater due to the risk they run with this highly venomous reptile.
