Residents of Pacora and 24 de Diciembre were surprised by the discovery of a man's body floating in the waters of the Cabra River, near El Trébol #1 square. The discovery occurred in the summer, with no rain in the area. The body was seen from a bridge that crosses the river and divides both districts. Onlookers waited for staff from the Public Ministry to arrive and recover the body. Apparently, since the body was found face up, one of the present individuals identified the victim as José Manuel Rivas, a man between 70 and 80 years old, who was known in the area for his work in recycling. It will be through the autopsy that it will be determined if he drowned as suspected or if the cause of death is related to something else.
