The President of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino, has designated the Minister of the Presidency, Juan Carlos Orillac, as coordinator of this action plan, which will bring solutions to the communities that have been most affected in recent days by the potable water service. Today, Minister Orillac led the second joint task force meeting to define the final details of the government strategy, in which the Secretary of Presidential Goals, José Ramón Icaza, participated, who will continue to be in charge of monitoring and compliance with progress in the Potabilizing Plants projects; the acting director of Idaan, Luis Santanach; and Antonio Tercero González, secretary general of Conades; as well as members of the board of directors and technical staff of Idaan. The work will focus on the installation of pumps for wells, adaptation of potabilizing plants, and maintenance of the distribution network at different points in the Azuero Peninsula, and then in the rest of the country. Minister Orillac emphasized that this plan has been designed under the instruction of President Mulino, who will tomorrow announce the construction of new potabilizing plants in the interior of the country.
