In Panama, the Consumer Protection and Competition Defense Authority (Acodeco) issued a safety notice after being notified by the manufacturer about certain stove models marketed under the Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery, and Frigidaire Professional brands. Local distributors, including Tech & House, Panafoto SA, Ace International Hardware, and Central America Appliance, acquired 96 units in Panama. According to information from Electrolux Home Products International, a division of Electrolux Consumer Products, Inc. (Electrolux Group), a potential safety issue related to slow ignition in the bake burner has been identified. The stove may resemble the one pictured. "This situation could eventually lead to a perception of gas odor, the formation of an invisible flame, or, in certain cases, a possible gas leak," the agency warned. The affected models are PCFG3080AF, GCRG3060BF, FCRG3052BS, FCRG3083AS, and GCFG3059BF, manufactured between June 1, 2025, and October 31, 2025, with serial numbers ranging from VF52200000 to VF54399999.
