For Holy Week, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) activated the Blue Alert and will keep 137 health facilities operational nationwide as part of the surveillance and care operation during Holy Week. Of these, 84 centers will be open 24 hours a day, including 21 hospitals. For this deployment, Minsa will have 121 vehicles and 2,200 officials to reinforce medical coverage. The institution indicated that during this period, all health sector dependencies must implement the general emergency guidelines established to ensure timely care for the population during Holy Week. Recommendations for travelers The Ministry of Health recommended to those traveling to the interior of the country: Stay hydrated. Avoid direct sun exposure between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.. Use sunscreen. Maintain prevention measures and self-care against respiratory viruses. These actions are part of Minsa's preventive plan to reduce incidents and ensure health safety during the period of greatest population movement. Additionally, 24 facilities will have extended hours, and the rest will operate on their regular schedule.
