The Social Security Fund (CSS) reported that it is in the process of awarding 89% of the 220 items of medicines included in the bid No. 2024-7-0-01-08-CL-000005, totaling 123 million 149 thousand 307 balboas. This process will supply the CSS pharmacies nationwide, according to an official statement.
"Within the mentioned bidding process, we have made progress in acquiring a wide range of essential medicines for our insured individuals," assured the national director of Administration of the CSS, Dálida Rodríguez de González. Through this purchase, the institution seeks to ensure the adequate supply of medicines to its patients across the country.
The acquisition of these medicines is part of CSS's ongoing efforts to improve the medical care and pharmaceutical services it offers to its affiliates.
