For her part, the President of the National Assembly, Dana CastaƱeda, emphasized that Arellano Lennox's legacy strengthens and inspires many, highlighting his political career and patriotic commitment.
Carlos Arellano Lennox is remembered for his role in planting flags in the former Canal Zone in 1958, as well as for his patriotic participation in 1964. During the ceremony, a resolution and the Panamanian flag were presented to his family as a special recognition of this illustrious Panamanian. Arellano Lennox passed away at the age of 97 on January 19, 2025, leaving a legacy of service to his country.
