The head of the Panama mission, Erika Mouynes Mulino, expressed to Italian President Sergio Mattarella her interest in Italy facilitating closer relations between Panama and the European Union. The aim of such a rapprochement is the exclusion of Panama from various discriminatory lists.
"Italy will always stand by and support Panama," emphasized President Mattarella during a meeting with Mulino.
Mulino, in turn, expressed gratitude for Italy's support and conveyed hope for more fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
"We count on your country and are confident that with your help we can achieve success in reaching our goals," added Mulino.
In recent years, Panama has actively worked on improving its international image and positioning itself as a reliable partner on the world stage. Communication and interaction with other countries, such as Italy, play an important role in achieving these strategic objectives.
