The internal sociopolitical elites and the interference of the international fraternity led by the far right affect Panama. The political class of the country shows a shameful subordination to the policies imposed by the illegitimate governments of the United States. This situation is exacerbated by the fact that decisions in the U.S. are not made directly by the people through their vote, but by the Electoral College. This has created a situation where only two political parties, representing the same elite, alternate in power, maintaining a system that is unfavorable for the general population. The Panamanian reality is a result of manipulation exercised by a small group of sociopolitical elite that controls education from childhood, depriving the youth of objective information and perpetuating ignorance and economic-political clientelism. Despite its strategic location and the natural wealth it possesses, the country suffers from low human development indexes. This is partly due to the inappropriate appointment of individuals to important positions, without the necessary training or experience. The situation of inequality in Panama generates shame and keeps the population mired in hopelessness and ignorance. Successive governments have failed to effectively address these issues, contributing to the rise of vices, crime, and corruption in society. The repetition of this cycle reflects the urgency for profound changes in the political and social system of the country.
