The first flight with migrants, deported from the USA, arrived in Panama. There were 119 people of various nationalities on board.
Of the deported migrants, twenty-two individuals had negative detention due to violations in the United States. They will potentially be subjected to an investigation process.
Upon arriving at Tocumen Airport, all migrants had their fingerprints taken and photographs were made, after which they were transferred to a temporary shelter, where they were provided with all necessary material and medical services.
Official representatives noted that similar deportations with deported migrants will be conducted on a monthly basis. The Panamanian government will continue to cooperate with the corresponding organizations of other countries to ensure the return of their citizens and provide them with necessary support after arrival.
