According to De Gracia, the party's convention process was tainted and full of irregularities, seeking to challenge the results that favored José Luis Varela as president.
Dionisio De Gracia expressed his dissatisfaction upon learning the decision that favored the validity of the convention, mentioning that he will continue fighting for transparency and democracy within the party.
"We cannot allow the democratic rules of our party to be undermined. I will continue to defend the institutionality and the will of the bases," De Gracia stated.
