A group of workers from the Unique Union of Construction and Similar Workers (Suntracs) is facing charges for crimes against collective security and public damage, following the events that occurred on Wednesday on Balboa Avenue.
According to official sources, a multiple hearing has been scheduled for these unionized workers, who were allegedly involved in violent protests that resulted in disturbances and damage to public property.
Authorities have expressed their concern about such situations, which endanger the safety of citizens and public order.
Regarding this issue, the Suntracs union has stated that they are committed to defending the rights of their members, but they reject any acts of violence that may trigger negative consequences for society.
One of the union representatives expressed: "We are willing to collaborate with authorities to clarify what happened and ensure that the appropriate legal processes are respected."
