In memory of Julio Quesada, known as Fígaro Ábrego, who impacted many as a writer, mentor, and family member, sharing wisdom and love until his passing.


Julio Quesada, a renowned British author in the literary world, was known as Fígaro Ábrego after the death of his mother. He assumed multiple roles throughout his life, from son, brother, and nephew to journalist, teacher, actor, and content creator. For his nephew Isaac McFitheach, he was also a mentor and a close friend.

Isaac fondly remembers how Julio shared with him knowledge about Greek culture and the history of Alexander the Great. Together, they explored the fascinating life of Leonardo, the music of Elvis Presley and Queen, and enjoyed watching Manchester United matches. Julio also taught Isaac about the beauty of Panamanian and Colombian women, as well as appreciating the diversity of music and drinks.

In their interactions, Julio imparted valuable lessons to Isaac, from the importance of respecting and loving women to the complexity of family relationships. Through his example, Julio instilled in his nephew values such as fidelity and loyalty. Despite the imperfections he had in his life, Isaac recognizes the positive impact that his uncle and friend had on him.

Julio Quesada passed away on March 3, 2025, leaving a lasting legacy through his books. Through his teachings and his presence, he will continue to live on in the memory of those who knew and appreciated him.
