During the first two months of the year, more than forty migrants were rescued in operations aimed at ensuring their safety in Panama. This rescue was carried out thanks to the combined efforts of various security agencies in the country.
According to official reports, among the rescued migrants were citizens of different nationalities. Many of them had entered the country irregularly and were in high-risk situations.
Panamanian authorities highlighted the importance of these operations to prevent dangerous situations and protect the lives of migrants crossing the territory in search of a better quality of life.
In the words of a spokesperson for the security agencies: "Our commitment is to ensure the safety of all individuals in Panamanian territory, regardless of their nationality. We will continue to work to protect and assist those who need our help".
