The National Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers (IDAAN) has reaffirmed its commitment to transparent management and direct contact with the population to fulfill its mission of providing drinking water. In this regard, IDAAN has vigorously disapproved the actions of the regional manager in Bocas del Toro and clarified that these do not reflect the institution's position.
The Executive Directorate of IDAAN has decided to dismiss Tomas Erlington from his position as the regional manager in Bocas del Toro. With the aim of continuing with projects aimed at improving the supply of drinking water in the province, engineer Sergio López, the current national coordinator of regional offices, has been temporarily appointed.
In this sense, IDAAN has expressed its apologies to the entire population of Bocas del Toro and has reiterated its commitment to maintaining an open management that facilitates seeking solutions to ensure the supply of drinking water.
--- Quote: "IDAAN reaffirms its commitment to transparent management and direct contact with the population in compliance with its mission to provide drinking water to our people," said the institution's spokesperson.
