
The Cabinet Council approved Resolution No. 53-25, which exempts official vehicles from three Panamanian entities from toll payment on the North and South corridors. The beneficiaries of this measure are the vehicles of the Unique Emergency Management System (SUME), the National Migration Service, and the Ministry of Public Security.
This decision aims to provide facilities to the mentioned institutions so that they can move more efficiently and swiftly throughout the country, especially in emergency and security situations.
"This exemption will allow these entities to fulfill their responsibilities in a more efficient and timely manner," commented a government representative, highlighting the importance of ensuring quick and unobstructed access for these vehicles to areas where their presence is required.
