Panamanian Parliament Debates Hospital Administration and Healthcare Reforms

During the last week of the National Assembly's ordinary period, the Commission on Labor and Health is reviewing several key projects. These include bills to regulate hospital administrations, recognize health and safety professionals, create a digital platform for public sector job vacancies, and establish a 24/7 healthcare service. The commission is also set to discuss the controversial change of Father's Day from June to March.

**Activity of the commission on labor protection and occupational safety in the parliamentary committee was planned**. The commission's activities are scheduled for the upcoming projects. Parallely in the country are being considered government projects, including "Measures Urgent" (from 1 to 5 January), for which "Gimn from La Ville de los Santos" is scheduled for 10 January. Thus, the parliamentarians are discussing social issues with the period of mass meetings.
