President José Raúl Mulino thanked the students of the "public school" on their Day.
In the hall of the student building, on the day of the "Day of the Student", President José Raúl Mulino met with the leadership of the Republic of Argentina, the head of the school Beatriz Miranda in the Hall of Flowers (Chiriqui Province). This day is an important date for the graduates of the school.
The first in the history of the school President Panama in the selection process chose the student, who was named "president of the republic". Agustín Miranda became one of the 19 schoolchildren (14 boys and 5 girls) from the 10th and 11th grades, selected according to the program of the leaders "From class to leadership, leaving the followers". The students were selected for their high academic performance and 6 regional leadership qualities: Chiriqui, Comarca Emberá, Central Panama, Colón, West Panama and San-Miguelito.
"I feel very proud and happy," said the student, who is working in the ministry, where he met with working students. "President Mulino is a person who listens and understands," said Agustín Miranda, the head of the school, noting that he had spent a lot of time in this position.
The student expressed gratitude to the leadership of the school for the attention to the younger generation and for providing such initiatives for the development of leaders. "I thank the one-class students, your results are impressive. Your efforts give results," he said.
The ministry of education appreciates that the student is a time to think about the importance of education and the role of young people in the development of the country. Moreover, despite the few hours, the symbol of the prize was the recognition of students and the stimulation of their higher achievements.
