What was meant to be a joyful reveille in honor of the Colonel of the Joan of Arc Battalion 2025 ended in an episode of confusion and annoyance among attendees, after National Police units abruptly burst into the venue following a complaint from a resident. According to witnesses, the incident occurred in Bella Vista, where traditional patriotic celebrations were taking place. The festive atmosphere was marred when the district representative, César Kianco, far from mediating to allow the event to continue, limited himself to recording videos and showing satisfaction at the police interruption, which generated rejection from those present. "The most outrageous thing is that, being a La Sallian and therefore knowing our traditions, he did not make the slightest effort to support or understand what was being developed," expressed one of the participants. The organizers regret that a civic and cultural event was halted by the complaint of a resident, allegedly a foreigner who could not tolerate the start of the patriotic festivities. Even more incomprehensible, they said, was the attitude of the representative himself, who showed no empathy with the Colonel being honored or with his family. Amidst the general discontent, members of the Officers' Society of the Joan of Arc Battalion of La Salle College demanded that Kianco be declared persona non grata for his "indolent and opportunistic" behavior.
