Bogotá, Colombia. — The General Director of Panama's Penitentiary System, Jorge Torregroza, is participating in the First Latin American Prison Systems Summit, a crucial regional event taking place from November 11th to 13th in Bogotá, Colombia.

The event is organized by Colombia's National Penitentiary and Prison Institute (INPEC).

The summit brings together directors and representatives of penitentiary institutions from Latin America with the fundamental purpose of exchanging experiences and best practices that contribute to the modernization of regional penitentiary management.
