Registration period for General Contest 2026 opens

The Ministry of Education of Panama has announced the opening of the first call for the General Contest of Teachers and Professors for the 2026 school year. Applications will be accepted from November 25 to December 2. To participate, applicants must be Panamanian citizens and be in good physical and mental health. Additional requirements include: not being suspended from their position in the Ministry of Education; not having been separated from their position by order of the competent authority; not being administratively disqualified from holding the position; not having been dismissed from the Ministry of Education or criminally convicted for acts against morality and sexual freedom, or for mismanagement of public funds; and having the required titles, credits, and/or documents registered in the Permanent Register of Eligibles. Application process: Applicants must attach the required documents through the Provel platform, available on the Ministry of Education's official website, ensuring that the total size of the files does not exceed 600 KB.
