The mayor's office of the Colón district has called on residents of the Salamanca corregimiento, in the transisthmus area, to participate in the Citizen Consultation event. This event will take place this Sunday, November 16th, at 3:00 p.m., at the Salamanca local board. This public participation space will allow the community to define the use and investment of $50,000 allocated to the corregimiento. The consultation aims to ensure that investment decisions respond to the needs and proposals of the residents themselves. The event will feature the participation of Diógenes Galván, mayor of the Colón district. Previously, this citizen consultation was held in the Buena Vista and San Juan corregimientos, where it is the residents themselves who propose community projects to address the needs of their populations.
