Naval forces have dealt another significant blow to drug trafficking by seizing 600 packages of a suspected illicit substance on El Rincón Beach in the Los Santos province. Additionally, a handmade boat was confiscated. Intelligence efforts, patrol activities, and control of illicit maritime traffic led to the discovery of an abandoned vessel. At the scene, several individuals with suspicious behavior attempted to flee, but units managed to capture them and recover several sacks hidden in the undergrowth. The case has been handed over to the Los Santos Drug Prosecutor's Office, which ordered the verification and counting of the material. According to official data, this year the institution has already seized a total of 52,327 packages of illicit substances in 117 operations, reinforcing national security and taking action against drug trafficking networks that insist on moving their merchandise through the country.
