Engineer Pablo Torres Chong exercises his right to reply regarding media reports linking him to the Oceanic Tug vessel.
Torres Chong states that as of March 22, 2023, he has had no relationship with the aforementioned vessel, which was sold in full compliance with the law. He emphasizes that from this date, he has no connection to the ownership, operation, administration, or representation of this vessel or to any current activities mentioned in the media.
The engineer categorically denies all accusations and any direct or indirect involvement in criminal activity. He strongly condemns drug trafficking and any illicit activity, supporting the fight against organized crime.
Torres Chong regrets the dissemination of inaccurate and unverified information that has caused confusion and unfairly affected his name and reputation. He suggests that some publications, motivated by certain economic groups in the maritime sector, were made with malicious intent and are contrary to truth and ethics.
In accordance with Article 22 of Law 2005, the right to reply is granted to Engineer Pablo Torres Chong.
