Herrera Province Boosts Security for New Year

Governor Elías Corro met with mayors and police to coordinate security for upcoming festivities. Authorities call for responsible celebration.


To reinforce public security during New Year's celebrations and other upcoming festivities, a coordination meeting was held between the seven mayors of the Herrera province and the National Police. "Working meetings were held with the mayors and the National Police to coordinate the security measures that will be implemented for New Year's and other upcoming festivities, with the aim of preventing situations that could affect peaceful coexistence and citizen safety," stated Governor Corro. The authorities called on the public to celebrate responsibly, respecting established regulations and collaborating with the authorities, so that the festivities can take place in an atmosphere of security, coexistence, and tranquility for all. The governor of the province, Elías Corro, informed that these coordination efforts aim to establish a joint work plan that will allow for the guarantee of public order, the tranquility of homes, and the protection of the population during the festive activities held in the province. Likewise, local authorities emphasized the need to maintain permanent communication between local authorities and security forces to prevent regrettable situations.
