Vehicle Fleet and New Equipment Disappear from Panama's Inadeh Institute

According to Ortega, vehicle fleets left the institution and also new equipment in boxes disappeared overnight. This was reported by Luis Ortega, from the Association of Workers of Inadeh, who this week filed a complaint with the Public Ministry, Comptroller General's Office, and Antai. "There were cases in which this PRD administration took the professional training equipment, sophisticated, specialized, they stacked it in a room and practically left it there to get damaged and today that equipment is obsolete," he added. "We are talking about thousands and thousands of dollars that disappeared in new, sophisticated equipment, rolls, entire spools of cables and to this day no one has been found guilty," he told Nex Noticias. The official specified that the justification given at the time for the disposal of the equipment was the demolition of the old building to build another one.
