The National Assembly of Panama approved a resolution allowing deputies who are lawyers to practice law through a license for the remainder of this five-year legislative period. The resolution was read with the names of deputies who are lawyers and received 34 votes in favor and 3 against. A total of 13 qualified lawyers were counted who joined the cause. Among the lawyers, Ernesto Cedeño is highlighted, who at the beginning of this legislative cycle had proposed to litigate or practice, but his proposal was rejected. The deputy from Colón, Jairo 'Bolota' Salazar, proposed in a matter of order that this proposal be read while a bill on the reorganization of the judiciary in the province of West Panama was being presented.
