A total of 500 drug packages were seized by the Naval Aviation units during a surprise operation in Santa Isabel, Costa Arriba, Colón province. The action was taken after officers detected the unloading of suspected drugs from a vessel into a residence, following an air and maritime surveillance. Land units arrived immediately, surrounded the residence, and conducted a search with a judicial warrant. The seized material was transferred to the Captain Lloyd Núñez General Command Base, where the Colón Drugs Prosecutor's Office continues with the proceedings. This operation is part of the Naval Aviation's efforts, which this year have confiscated over 7 tons of drugs (7,246 packages) in six operations nationwide, reinforcing surveillance at strategic points in the country. With constant air, sea, and land patrols, the institution remains committed to curbing drug trafficking and protecting the security of the community in Santa Isabel and all of Colón.
