Road Safety in Los Santos at Risk due to Loose Livestock

The constant presence of cattle grazing freely on the most busy roads connecting the districts of Los Santos province with the city of Las Tablas has become a serious danger for drivers and pedestrians, causing concern among citizens and authorities. According to local reports, the unsupervised herding of livestock is frequent, especially during night and early morning hours when visibility is low, increasing the risk of traffic accidents. This situation is compounded by the lack of identification of the animals' owners, which makes it difficult to apply sanctions and preventive measures. On multiple occasions, units of the National Police have had to intervene to control the situation, performing improvised herding duties to remove the animals from the roads and safeguard both the lives of road users and the integrity of the livestock. The authorities reiterated the call to farm owners and ranchers to keep their animals properly fenced and under control, reminding them that the presence of livestock on public roads is a violation and a latent threat to road safety. They also urged the public to report these cases immediately to prevent unfortunate incidents on the province's roads.
