In Panama, the leader of the 'Los Killa New Town Boys' gang, known as 'Adán', was arrested this Wednesday. The 'Golpe 2.0' operation was carried out in the Victoriano Lorenzo district of San Miguelito. Subcommissioner Saúl Sánchez, Executive of the San Miguelito Police Zone, detailed that 'Adán' and another man were apprehended while traveling in a van through a road in this district. He emphasized that both detainees are wanted by the Specialized Superior Prosecutor's Office for the Crime of Illegal Association for the crime of gang activity in the province of Colón. Just yesterday, during the 'Golpe' operation, carried out by the National Police and the Public Ministry, 11 alleged members of this criminal group were arrested, including another leader known as 'Dindi', aged 45. The investigation against this criminal group began in 2023, as its members have since been linked to the commission of serious crimes such as homicide, personal injury, deprivation of liberty, and drug trafficking.
