Major Blow to Drug Trafficking in Pacific Waters

A major blow to drug trafficking was dealt in the Pacific waters. When law enforcement ordered the vessel to stop, the crew ignored the command and attempted to flee, but the maneuver was short-lived. Upon boarding the boat, officials observed several sacks with suspected drugs and weaponry, confirming it was an illegal trafficking operation. The scene made it clear that the cargo was well-guarded and ready to continue its route. Subsequently, in coordination with the Los Santos Drugs Prosecutor's Office, the vessel, the contraband, and the apprehended individuals were transferred to the Quebrada de Piedra Air Naval Station, where the corresponding legal proceedings continue. The Air Naval Service detailed that so far this year, 12.8 tons of illicit substances have been seized through 10 successful operations, figures that reflect the constant pressure against this criminal enterprise.
