The entity detailed that the ship carrying the container was in line to transit through the Panama Canal towards the Atlantic when the hidden drugs were found among the cargo. The container, which came from Posorja, Ecuador, and was destined for Hamburg, Germany, was located by the uniformed personnel through tasks of control of illicit maritime and port traffic, through profiling and verification. Subsequently, it was coordinated with the Drug Prosecutor's Office of the province of Panama to carry out the search and registration procedures for the container.
