An attempted homicide occurred in the Pacora district of Panama. On Thursday, on the Pan-American Highway near the entrance of the Tataré area, armed individuals in a vehicle began shooting at a black pickup truck carrying the intended victim. As a result of the shooting, a man and a minor were injured. The pickup truck was riddled with bullets, and apparently, the driver lost control, ending up in a ditch beside the road. Two other vehicles—a red sedan and a coaster-type passenger bus—were also involved in the incident and collided. The injured individuals were urgently transported to Santo Tomás Hospital in stable condition. National Police units from Pacora arrived at the scene to investigate the case and conduct operations to apprehend the assailants.
