A young man was stabbed in the heart. His body was found at his home yesterday. Today, a funeral mass will be held at the Luz Divina church in Gariché, after which his remains will be buried at the Unión de La Conga cemetery. A 38-year-old man, the victim's uncle, has been detained on suspicion of the murder of 23-year-old Anthuan Enrique Santamaría Guerra. The incident occurred on March 1 in the La Conga area of Bugaba district. During a dispute between the man and his 28-year-old partner, the young man tried to intervene. The man then grabbed a knife and stabbed his nephew in the side. The victim was taken to the hospital, but he died en route. The court has chosen pretrial detention for the suspect on charges of aggravated intentional homicide.
