The call came after Lombana accused Bernal of silently condoning the actions of President José Raúl Mulino's government, which he described as antidemocratic and corrupt. "If they operate on him, they won't just find toads," Bernal retorted, emphasizing his resolve. He also stressed that he has never backed anything improper and called for mutual respect.
