The National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG) confirmed that the digital driver's license project is in a very advanced stage and its official launch will take place in the coming weeks, once the Transit and Land Transportation Authority (ATTT) defines the exact date. The director of the AIG, Adolfo Fábrega, explained that although the project's start was announced for 2025, it has not yet been launched for users. Remember, having a digital license is one thing, but a police officer's ability to validate it is another. The necessary technical assessments have already been completed to ensure the tool works safely and can be integrated with validation systems.
