In the Darién province, units from the Third Pacific Battalion of the National Border Service apprehended a citizen for the alleged crime of micro-trafficking or retail drug sales. The individual was in possession of more than two dozen reeds with white powder, as well as transparent cartridges with a similar substance, presumably cocaine. The citizen was referred to the competent authority.

Border authorities in Darien have detained a man with a large quantity of drugs. Over two dozen packages of a white powder, believed to be cocaine, were seized from him. The suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
