ATTT Takes Action Against InDriver

Authorities from the Land Traffic and Transport Authority (ATTT) have reported that only taxis are authorized to display signs or stickers identifying them as selective transport vehicles. This clarification is made in response to the operation of the InDriver platform in Panama.

According to the ATTT, vehicles not registered as taxis are not allowed to carry any type of identification relating them to a selective transport service, as this goes against the current regulations in the country.

In accordance with local regulations, these actions may result in fines and even the impounding of the vehicle. The ATTT has declared that it will take the necessary measures to ensure compliance with the law regarding the identification of the different types of land transport in Panama.

In the words of a representative of the ATTT: "It is important that the provisions established for each type of transport service are respected, in order to maintain order and safety on our roads. We are attentive to any non-compliance and will act accordingly."
