Police Actions Lead to Multiple Arrests in Panama

After national-level police actions, 158 people were captured, including four women and one man. The National Police and the Public Ministry carried out raids in Chame, Capira, and San Carlos, where they rescued a young man who was allegedly a victim of deprivation of liberty. During these operations, a vehicle was recovered.

In an official statement, authorities reported: "We are committed to fighting crime and rescuing those who are victims of these criminal acts. We will continue to work to ensure the safety and tranquility of all citizens".

Intelligence and surveillance operations allowed authorities to identify suspects and carry out the necessary arrests. It is expected that these actions will dismantle criminal gangs operating in the region.

Among those arrested are individuals with criminal records for various offenses, suggesting they may be involved in larger-scale criminal activities. Investigations into this case are ongoing to determine the involvement of each of the captured individuals.
