Copa Airlines and the Panamanian Football Federation (FEPAFUT) are inviting Panamanians to design the livery for the national team's plane for the 2026 World Cup.
This initiative aims to allow talented Panamanians to create a unique image that will accompany the team on its way to the world championship. As the official airline and sponsor, Copa Airlines wants this significant design to be created by Panamanian artists.
To participate, contestants must create a design that reflects the shared values of both organizations: sport as national pride and Panama's passion for football. There are several strict requirements: the Copa Airlines logo must remain on the fuselage, the FEPAFUT crest must be correctly applied, and only the approved color palette can be used. The use of Panamanian national symbols, references to FIFA, the 2026 World Cup, or other commercial brands is prohibited.
The evaluation process will be conducted in two phases. First, an internal jury from Copa Airlines and FEPAFUT will select five finalists. Then, the winner will be chosen by a panel of Panamanian artists, creative directors, and representatives from the organizations, based on creativity, visual impact, and alignment with the team's spirit.
The author of the winning design will receive two main prizes. Their artwork will be applied to a Copa Airlines Boeing aircraft that will operate across the airline's network of 85 destinations. Additionally, the winner and a companion will receive a trip to one of Panama's matches at the 2026 World Cup.
