In the new FIFA ranking, Panama has climbed six spots, moving from 36th to 30th place compared to its position at the end of the December 2024 classification. Within CONCACAF, the national team is only behind Mexico (14th), the United States (15th), and Canada (27th), placing fourth in the region. Behind Panama are Costa Rica in 49th place, Honduras (65th), Jamaica (70th), Curacao (82nd), Haiti (84th), and Guatemala (94th), completing the top 10 of CONCACAF, which makes the Panamanian team the first in the Central American region.
