Panama's "Canaleros" team will compete for the fourth time in the prestigious Baby Fútbol Colanta tournament in Medellín, Colombia, from January 1-18. The team aims to improve upon last year's performance, reaching the round of 16.

A representative from Panama will compete in the prestigious Baby Fútbol Colanta tournament, from January 1 to 18 in Medellín, Colombia. This will be the fourth participation for the "Canaleros," whose technical-tactical preparation is partially led by renowned youth coach Jorge Santos. For Luis Miguel García, president of Baby Fútbol Panama, no effort has been spared to surpass the team's 2024 performance, when they reached the round of 16. Panama will play its first match on January 4 against Fútbol Paz de Cali, then on January 5 against the Juan Cuadrado Academy of Medellín, and will close the group stage against Urabá-Antioquia on January 8. This group will feature players such as Ricardo De La Guardia, Zadir Guevara, Ricardo Pérez, Thiago De Gracia, Hamsik Quesada, Jhon Lung, and Alvin Melo, who come from academies like Soccer 10, Nuevo Chorrillo, and JAPS. From baby football, world-renowned figures like James Rodríguez and Radamel Falcao have emerged.
