According to a statement from Pandeportes, the Panamanian softball team will remain concentrated in the province of Herrera during the carnival days, continuing their technical and physical preparation with 24 players. The Panamanian softball pre-selection will continue training at La Arena stadium in Chitré, aiming for the Pan American Qualifying Tournament in Montería, Colombia. The Panamanian team will travel to Montería on Thursday, February 19, to face this important international commitment from February 21 to 28, 2026.
