Panamanian cycling secured three spots for the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, which will be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. A press release from the Panamanian Cycling Federation (Fepaci) informed that the spots were obtained during a notable performance at the 2026 Pan American Road Championship, held in Montería, Colombia. Fepaci detailed that the Panamanian delegation opened its classification account last Saturday, thanks to Wendy Ducreux's performance. The national cyclist demonstrated her excellent form in the women's road race, securing the first spot for the country in this regional event. Meanwhile, the men's team sealed a historic day, by securing two additional spots after an intense battle on the Colombian asphalt. With these results, Panama begins its journey successfully towards the maximum representation allowed for the Central American and Caribbean Games, which is 4 spots per branch (male and female).
