The goalkeeper Luis 'Manotas' Mejía, designated to speak with the press yesterday, highlighted the importance of the upcoming away matches against South Africa today, Friday, and next Tuesday, March 31st.

Mejía praised the level of African teams and clarified how important it will be to approach both matches with the necessary responsibility, thinking about the World Cup debut against Ghana on June 17th in Toronto.

"We know that these are two matches that will help us a lot, facing a confederation from Africa that we know are tough rivals, so we have to take these matches with great responsibility," explained the goalkeeper of the Uruguayan club Nacional.

Today's match is scheduled for noon (Panama time) at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in the city of Durban, South Africa, and will be broadcast live by RPC and TV Max.

The second friendly match will be on Tuesday, March 31st, at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa, at 12:30 PM (Panama time).

For today's match, around 25,000 fans are expected at a stadium with a capacity of 55,000.

Once the match is over, the Panamanian team will travel tomorrow to the host city of the second match (Cape Town) to prepare for the second friendly.
