The Panamanian Gymnastics Federation thanks its coaches for their role in every great result achieved by our athletes. Panamanian gymnast Hillary Heron continues to have excellent international performances and today will extend her participation in the Floor Exercise Final of the Cairo World Cup in artistic gymnastics. The 22-year-old Heron qualified for this final with a score of 12.100, placing her sixth out of eight athletes who will compete for medals today. The distinguished Panamanian athlete will compete in the final against Qinqin Ke (China), Laia Font (Spain), Elizaveta Us (Russia), Thelma Adalsteinsdottir (Iceland), Ceren Biner (Turkey), Salina Bousmayo (Morocco), and Bohdana Kovalova (Ukraine). Yesterday, Heron won the silver medal in the vault. The Panamanian Gymnastics Federation reported that Heron had two excellent vaults to secure second place in the event final. On her first vault, Heron scored 13.133, while the second was scored 13.466, achieving a total score of 13.499 to reach second place behind Spanish athlete Laia Font, who scored 13.533.
