Panama has officially registered 246 athletes for the fourth edition of the South American Youth Games, which will be held on home soil from April 12 to 25. A press release from the organizers of the regional sporting games informed that the registration took place at the South American Village, where the local delegation kicked off the process at 9 in the morning, lasting for approximately two hours. During the meeting, the entire accreditation system was reviewed, and the participation of 246 Panamanian athletes, along with 31 mission officials and 39 team officials, was confirmed, who will be part of the Team Panama delegation. «Very happy to receive our country as the first National Olympic Committee with which we started these meetings. It was quite successful; we are already finishing up and finalizing the registration details for some athletes,» expressed Raquel Pasos, director of service for the South American Youth Games Panama 2026.
